Opinions
The Court of Appeals hears over 3,000 appeals a year. Like every judge on the North Carolina Court of Appeals, I write an average of about 150 appellate opinions a year.
Our court is a hard working court where experience and education counts.
I apply the constitution and law fairly to all who have cases. The foundation of law is fairness and fairness is the polar star which guides my jurisprudence.
